Our Team

Mickayla graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws in 2022. After working previously as a summer clerk for RMF Silva, Mickayla joined the team full time in 2023 and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in July 2023.

After gaining experience across several areas of law, with a range of RMF Silva team members, Mickayla now works primarily in the relationship property and property space, assisting clients with practical, tailored advice during what is typically a challenging time in their life.

Mickayla works across both the Christchurch and Ashburton offices. Originally from Ashburton, Mickayla moved to Christchurch for university and is now based there, while maintaining strong ties to the Mid Canterbury community.

Outside of work, Mickayla enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, staying active whether it is exploring the outdoors or in the gym, and travelling.
