Our Team

Chris joined RMF in 1984 after completing his law degree at Otago University. Chris then became a Partner in 1990.

Chris’s expertise lies in rural, residential and business transactions, trust and succession planning.

Chris is married to Margaret and has 3 adult children who were born, raised and educated in Ashburton. He is grateful for the many and varied opportunities that Ashburton has given him and his family. Chris seeks to give back to the community as much as he can and is involved with a number of local community organisations.

Chris is a late developing golfer and an enthusiastic boatie, water skier and snow skier (knees permitting!).
